Aman Foundation kolhapur supports the rights of persons with autism to fully participate in society. We help children on the autism spectrum to overcome the odds with the efforts of their parents, teachers and guidance from experts. We empower persons with autism and developmental disabilities, and their families.

Aman Foundation kolhapur is a registered NGO working for autism and related developmental disabilities. It began with an initiative with like minded people, a group of parents whose children with autism need care, support, education, therapy and training.

A foundation that views the interdependence of people OF every ability as valuable and enriching, as well as seeking to provide equal opportunities for all.

Despite autism sometimes being viewed as a terrible and tragic condition, our philosophy has been one of acceptance and inclusion. Under C.A.R.E. (Centre of Autism Resourceful Education), we view ASD as a different way of being, sometimes difficult though, but challenging, but nonetheless, as valid as other children.

I am hugely encouraged by the growing public awareness of autism spectrum disorders and the increase of public services to many of those affected. Awareness on autism not only fosters greater understanding, but also empowers parents into seeking early intervention therapies and calls for the full integration of persons or society like us who are working on autism.

Thanks to the parents, trainers and therapists who supported and do support us from time to time. Without them it was quite impossible to help the children and adults with ASD. There are many children and adults on the autism spectrum disorders who have been able to overcome the odds with the efforts of their parents, teachers and guidance from experts.

Nurturing mothers have been instrumental in the growth and development of their children with autism. We need to educate in the heart of the communities. Now is the time for even greater access and work opportunities for persons with autism.
